Unfortunately, the unit never lived up to expectations of execution. Gateway Desktop was a problem out of the box, but I chalked Gateway Desktop up to Windows / Gateway bloat ware installed on your PC. I was planning to destroy Gateway Desktop and start all over again. However, the performance index of Windows (WEI) reported 7.9 in all directions, except for disks (5,9). So, I investigated replacing the primary drive and this is where I became more disappointed. Count: ten years of Dell Dimension 8200. Well at one time and never had a single issue, as he continues to work strong. Case requires no tools to open it, and most of the components such as disk drives convenient slide out on rails, and again without any tools. New Gateway FX believe Gateway Desktop or not use bolts everywhere. In the study of the disc, Gateway Desktop took more than 2 hours from the time I started until I got it back together (and it's on the bench).
