Bought for my daughter. Took Gateway Desktop out of the box, followed a couple of startup steps & that is it. Hooked Gateway Desktop up to 42"" HD TV & the screen is ideal. Using a remote keyboard & mouse bought seperatley. Surfing the net is great.

I searched in vain for Gateway Desktop reviews before purchasing this PC but decided to buy Gateway Desktop anyway. I am glad I did. It is a lovely PC for the cost. It is simple to set up, calm, & speedy. It also doesn't come with lots of preloaded ""crapware"" like some other brands. Other positives include the number of USB ports as well as a headphone jack in front. I would highly recommend this PC.

I will write this review again, looks as if first seldom made it. Gateway Desktop computor is plain speedy,quiet,small.Able to run different processes without delay. Able to 8gb ram but two works fine so far. Not much bloatware, Office 2010 is a stater trial. Since purchase, i have upgraded to 2010 professional & bought norton 2011 program from amazon,to replace 60 day trail. Also changed to wireless mouse. That is the only con.Make sure you run the recovery disk back-ups before you start anything
